An Explanation of the Predetermined Concept That Elden Ring Holds Regarding Death

In Elden Ring, the divine characters get their power from their Great Runes, and then certain aspects of that power are passed down to their offspring. People who are not a part of this family can, however, use the power of the Great Runes of the Elden Ring if they either possess the rune itself or have the powers of the rune granted to them as a reward for their loyalty to the person who currently carries the rune in their possession as a reward for their loyalty to the person who currently carries the rune in their possession. Those who wield the power that comes from the Great Rune known as Elden Rings Destined Death are granted the ability to put an end to gods in their entirety. This Great Rune has been in existence in Elden Ring for a very long time, and it is generally agreed upon as being one of the Runes that carries the most weight in terms of its historical significance. It is believed that the Erdtree will have the ability to resurrect any gods that have been put to death if the power of Destined Death is absent from the world.

The Function That Predetermined Death Serves Within the Bigger Picture of Elden Ring's NarrativeIt is believed that Melina, the young woman who plays the role of the Tarnished player character, was the first known bearer of the Destined Death rune

  • Melina portrays the role of the Tarnished player character

  • Despite the fact that Melina may initially appear to be a character with good intentions, when she comes into possession of Destined Death, she transforms into her true form

  • This occurs despite the fact that Destined Death is a powerful artifact

  • Fans have hypothesized that Melina is actually the Gloam-Eyed Queen, and it has been suggested that this identity will be revealed in the Lord of the Frenzied Flame ending for Elden Ring

  • This would be consistent with the widely held belief among players that Melina is actually the Gloam-Eyed Queen

  • Melina will show up and threaten the player, saying that she will kill them and deliver Destined Death to them, but the game will end before the player can take any further action if they choose to finish the game with this ending

  • Melina will appear and threaten the player

  • It is possible that Melina will make good on her promise to fulfill this prophecy in one of the add-ons for Elden Ring; however, this will be contingent on which of the potential endings for Elden Ring are regarded as canon

The Gloam-Eyed Queen was the one who initially possessed power over the Rune of Destined Death, and the Godskin Apostles were present to aid her in this endeavor. The name of these characters comes from the Gloam-Eyed Queen, who bestowed the Greater Rune upon them and gave them the ability to kill gods with it. Because of this, they were given the name "Godkillers."Their armor is constructed from the skin of deities that have previously been vanquished. The other gods were terrified of the power that the Gloam-Eyed Queen and the Godskin Apostles possessed because it seemed as though neither of them answered to anyone. It was only a matter of time before the Divine family of Elden Ring attempted to take back the Rune of Destined Death that they had given to the Queen and revoked her ability to use it. In other words, it was inevitable that they would do this. Following their victory over the Gloam-Eyed Queen, the Divine family was able to obtain possession of the Great Rune of Destined Death.

They then gave it to Maliketh, the royal protector, so that he could keep it in a secure location. Due to the fact that the Divine family had no plans to make use of Destined Death, not even to eliminate the Gloam-Eyed Queen, it was hidden away for the time being to prevent it from falling into the hands of those who would abuse it. Some individuals are of the opinion that when the Gloam-Eyed Queen had her power taken away from her, she assumed the identity of Melina and went in search of an envoy to assist her in regaining it so that she could continue ruling. Because of this, she wound up serving as the Maiden for the player character in the end. Some people are of the opinion that the Gloam-Eyed Queen was put to death. While Maliketh was keeping watch over Destined Death, one of the children who was a part of the Divine family stole it. Maliketh was responsible for keeping watch over Destined Death. Ranni the Witch, along with the assistance of the Black Knife Assassins, used the stolen Great Rune to carry out her plan to rebel against the role that she was destined to play as a member of the Divine family by assassinating Godwyn the Golden and herself.

This was done with the help of the stolen Great Rune. It is believed that Ranni's legacy will live on in the form of puppets created in her likeness despite the fact that her actual body has been destroyed. Many people believe that the assassination that took place on this night, which later became known as the Night of Black Knives, was the reason that Queen Marika shattered the Elden Ring and was then imprisoned in the Erdtree. This theory is supported by the fact that this night became known as the Night of Black Knives. After the head of the Divine family was taken into custody, this led to the outbreak of war in the Lands Between over the remaining Great Runes. This conflict occurred not long after the head of the Divine family was detained. After a very long time has passed since the conclusion of this conflict, the player character finally makes their entrance into the story with the intention of reassembling the Great Runes. Following the player character's successful completion of the mission to eliminate Maliketh, the player character will automatically become the new keeper of the Destined Death artifact.

It is believed that the power of any gods that the player character vanquishes prior to possessing Destined Death is lost upon stealing their Great Runes. This would apply to any gods that the player character vanquishes before possessing Destined Death. This is because the runes have been taken into possession by the player character. When the Tarnished player character finally sets fire to the Erdtree, the Rune Bearers are deprived of a proper resurrection, which occurs after they have suffered the loss of their powers. This comes after the Rune Bearers have suffered the loss of their abilities.
