How To Recreate Your Home In ACNH – 7 Ideas For a Cozy Autumn Makeover
There is no better season than autumn. It's that time of year again: pumpkin spice lattes are trendy, autumn has here, and it's officially frightening outside. The Fall season is reflected in Animal Crossing: New Horizons with the leaves changing colors, the addition of new furnishings themed after the season, and the celebration of several new festivities.
In preparation for the coming of autumn, perhaps you'd want to give your home a facelift. We have some suggestions for how to make your home more inviting, magical, or spooky for the Fall season, whether you're planning a complete overhaul or just sprucing up one room.
How To Recreate Your Home In ACNH – 7 Ideas For a Cozy Autumn Makeover
Haunted Home
Can you hardly wait till Halloween to scare the crap out of people? Make your entire Animal Crossing house into a terrifying Haunted House. Create the seasonal Spooky furniture set as a starting point for this motif, but don't stop there; there are plenty of different spooky furnishing alternatives to choose from.
If you want to make your home more spooky, you may utilize the model bugs and artificial spiderwebs, too. It's also creepy to use only candles for illumination. Make some unique designs and place some mannequins about the room if you want any ghosts. The spooky atmosphere of a haunted house is perfect for Halloween and may be carried throughout your home.
Forest in the Fall
If the shifting of the leaves is your favorite part of autumn, you could like decorating with a woodland motif. Seasonal decor like the Mushroom set and the Tree's Bounty pieces can help you create a mystical fall nook in your own house.
Use the Autumn Wall and Colored-Leaves Flooring to emphasize the outdoor Autumn feel. Red Leaf Piles strewn across the floor are also a nice touch. And if you really want to go all out, there's even a Train Set available in a special Fall edition that fits right in with this motif.
Acquainted with the Classroom Once Again
For many of you, the arrival of fall also signals the start of the academic year. Why not bring the classroom to your Animal Crossing house if you are the type of person who thrives in a formal learning environment? Various chalkboards, desks, seats, posters, and other accessories are available. A podium is also present.
Another motif that can be expanded around the home, this one works equally well in both formal and informal settings. Consider adding a "hallway" complete with lockers and maybe even a gymnasium. Also, with the addition of some Suspicious Cauldrons and Fortune Teller Sets, your school can seem like Hogwarts for the Halloween season.
In the fall, we look forward to the Barnyard Bash, when we can reminisce about hayrides, pumpkin fields, and apple orchards. A Barnyard Bash is the perfect way to decorate your house to give it a rustic, country vibe. Seat guests on hay bales and serve them from a spread spread out across a Ranch Tea Table.
If you want to give your home a rustic, country vibe, pieces from the Patchwork collection or the Ranch collection would work well. The use of an outdoor wallpaper like the Rice-Paddy Wall and a plain wooden floor will also contribute to the overall look. Turn on K. K. Country or K. K. Western on the radio as well; they'll be perfect for the event!
Inspiration from the Harvest Season
The Fall Harvest motif is another direction you can go in to bring those memories of apple picking into your house. All of the fruits in Animal Crossing may be turned into different pieces of furniture. You may bring the joy of picking fruit into your house by decorating with fruit-themed furnishings.
Since apples and pears are at their peak in the Fall, you may wish to prioritize those sets. Arrange a table with some dishes that feature the fruit.
All That Is Nice and Spiced with Pumpkin
Although the Roost and Brewster are two of our favorite coffee spots, it may be just as much fun to turn your own home into a cozy café for the season. The Pumpkin Spice Latte is back in stores this season. Although not included in the game, some pumpkin recipes, such as Pumpkin Scones and Pumpkin Soup, would be perfect for a Fall-themed bistro.
Use seasonal elements like Fall colors and furniture in your decor. The Spooky chairs are nondescript enough for everyday usage, while the Spooky Tower and Spooky Lantern may be used while hiding their spooky faces to give any room a festive pumpkin vibe. The use of coffee-related appliances in autumnal colors like red or yellow will also help set the mood.
Wreath, Door, and Roof Come Falling Down
Finally, don't forget to update your home's outside. Changing the color of your roof and front door to a warm Autumn shade, like red or orange, is a bold way to proclaim your enthusiasm for the season change. The external walls can be changed to match the mood you want to create within the house, whether it's eerie and dark or cozy and inviting.
